My last day at work is on Monday. Today we had a team breakfast which was great to see everyone, including the bosses, together as my farewell.

A little aside, I have just spotted the word ‘farewell’, we use it as ‘goodbye’ but it is actually ‘fare well’. That is rather a lovely meaning.

Anyway, I worked hard today, getting things straightened so as much of my work can be picked up as possible after I have gone. I also found it quite draining. I did a couple of goodbye e-mails but when I started reaching for the tissues I thought it was time to stop. You get lots of hugs though, I don’t mind that bit.

I am looking forward to the future and whatever it may bring, exciting times. But first some time for me and so a little more blogging.
